The 23rd Super Challengers Cup featured a one-sided contest between the Dolphins CC and Camran CC.
The Dolphins CC batted first. Their dangerous opener Fauz ul Hasan scored 40 off 37 to give his team a solid foundation. However, the batsmen found it difficult to score freely as wickets kept tumbling. Nawaz Badal and Mamoon Imtiaz collectively struck five times to derail the batting efforts. Failing to score over 7 runs an over, the Dolphins CC were ultimately restricted to 134 in 20 overs.
Chasing a relatively small total, Camran CC did not get off to a great start. A flurry of wickets at the top was combined with sluggish batting efforts from the middle order. Kamran Salam's 19 off 32 captured the struggle of Camran CC's innings as none of the batsmen really got going at any age. This was due in part to Nadir Shah's disciplined bowling display. He picked up 3 wickets, giving away just 21 runs in four overs. Rehman Ghani also did well to secure two scalps in the process, for 16 runs. These efforts ensured that Camran CC lost wickets at every crucial turn of the game. Eventually, the batting side folded for 99 in 19.2 overs.
Dolphins CC won the match by a comfortable margin of 35 runs.
