Benitoz Panthers batted first and were off to a brilliant start, thanks to their openers, Asad Butt and Tabish. The openers were in glorious form and utilized the power play perfectly, Asad Butt scored 41 of 28 whereas Tabish scored 42 of 20 balls. After a perfect start, the cherry on the top of the cake was placed by the partnership between Sumail and Raja, the duo took advantage of the platform and maintained the scoring rate with their power shots. Raja Saqlain scored 52 of 32 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes and his partner, Sumail Aziz was not far behind as he scored 46 of 34 balls with 5 fours. In the end, Benitoz Panthers managed to score 199 in their 20 overs.
After a perfect batting performance, the bowlers were in top form too as they were all over ZMCC batsmen from ball one. The new bowl pair set the tone as they maintained a tight line and length which allowed them to pick a wicket a piece. The bowlers after them, took advantage of the situation and picked up crucial wickets at crucial stages to halt the scoring rate, Moiz Kalwar in particular was in top form with the ball as he picked up 2 wickets just for 20 runs. Sumail Aziz wrapped up the innings with 2 wickets in his only over. ZMCC misery came to an end as they lost by a huge margin of 86 runs.
