The Team batted first and had a disastrous day with the bat, losing opener Faisal Waqar for just 7 runs. Things didn't get any better for them as the Bubbers bowlers tight performance left little room to score. Khalid Wyne lead the bowling attack, picking up 4 wickets at key times and limiting the flow of runs. The rest of the bowlers each contributed to keep the pressure on at all times. Shah Qureshi was the only notable contributor for his side, scoring a valuable 32 runs. The rest of the team stumbled throughout the innings, unable to gain stability and retain their wickets. The were eventually bowled out for 150 runs in 19.4 overs.
Bubbers were also off to a less than ideal start in their chase, losing opener Wamiq Ahmed for just 7 runs. The Team bowler Asad Ali did some damage with the ball, taking both openers wickets early on in the innings to rattle the opposition. A determined Bubbers side however was lead by Iqbal Butt whose match winning knock of 43 runs provided the stability they needed. Wickets fell in intervals but the batting side held their nerve, keeping the scoreboard ticking. Eventually a late contribution of 24 runs by Ali Jan sealed a comfortable victory. Bubbers chased down the total in 19.5 overs.
