What a match between Bulls and Dolphins at the final of the Khatri Super League- 2nd Edition! Bulls batted first with opener Tahir Ahmed being dismissed for duck! Things did not get any easier after that as the team were outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by the Dolphins line up. Khaleeq Chadani lead the attack with 3 wickets, giving nothing away. Sibghatullah Khatri who has been in the form of his life took 2 wickets along with Taqi Dedia who also took a couple. Eventually, 2 run outs and a wicket by Saqib had the Bulls dismissed for just 106 in 18.4 overs. Asim Arbani was the only player to fight back with 29 runs.
In response, Dolphins played an almost identical knock, losing their star Sibghatullah early on and then throwing their wickets away after that. Asim Arbani was relentless in his spell, taking 3 wickets. 2 wickets each to Usama and Kashif with Asad Yaqoobani taking the final wicket. Dolphins were dismissed for 106 and the match tied! The match was a complete nail biter, going down to the super over where Bulls batted first and scored 17 runs but the Dolphins were unable to match it, scoring only 10 runs.
Bulls won by 8 runs and were crowned champions.
