Taheri CC batted first against Burhani CC at the Bohra Champions League Season 5 and lost their key opener Taha Qadi for just 1 run. His partner Murtaza Hassan along with one down Murtaza Kappo helped stabilize the innings with knocks of 38 and 27 runs respectively. Mustafa Saleem also tried to keep the scoreboard ticking with his 21 run contribution however things seemed to fall apart after that. None of the subsequent batsmen were able to keep their wickets intact and as a result Taheri CC were restricted to 129 for 8 in 20 overs. Burhani CC bowlers did well to pull back the opposition with Aun's 3 wickets and Saifuddin Ibrahim picking up 2 wickets in his spell.
In response, Burhani CC had a low total to chase and despite losing wickets frequently, were able to comfortably get over the line. Ali Asghar knocked 27 runs while Aun's 21 and Ammar Muhammad 29 helped them chase down the target in 16.2 overs. Taheri bowler Burhanuddin Mushtaq was most impressive for his side with 3 wickets.
