Burj Builders and Developers went against MAA Construction ad Builders in the final match of SPL on 16th October.
Talha Ahmedani and Younus Tai opened the innings for Burj Builders and Developers. While Talha got out on 7 runs, Younus scored 33 runs, hitting 3 boundaries. Ali Naqi and Umer Chawla displayed a good effort and bagged 2 wickets each. The lower order batters played crucial cameos, helping the team to a steady total. Idrees Amin scored 15 off 11, while Akhter Mohammad Lala added 19 runs to the board. In addition to this, Madni Waqas Raja smashed 32 off 28 ball. As a result, Burj Builders and Developers posted a total of 152 runs.
Ali Naqi and Umer Tasleem opened the innings for MAA Construction and Builders. However, both lost wickets on a duck and 1 run respectively. Yaqoob Jan and Naveed Nagda, the middle-order batters, stabilised the innings, as they added 20 and 35 runs to the score respectively. The bowlers displayed a collective effort and dismissed 8 batters. Madni and Talha dismissed 2 batters each. Though Asad Akhter played a cameo of 36 off 14. However, the bowlers successfully restricted the batters and defended their score.
As a result, Burj Builders and Development won the final match of SPL by 21 runs.
