Burraq Motors and Helm Studio went against each other on 31st October at Civil Aviation Ground.
Khurram Taj and Wasif Muhammad opened the innings for Burraq Motors and gave a slow start. They scored 11 and 7 runs respectively. The upper-order was thrashed the bowlers, as Arsalan Butt bagged 4 wickets in his 4 overs. Usman Khan’s 33 and Asim Tariq’s 22 led the team to a score of 117 runs.
Owais Butt and Tariq Sheikhani opened the innings for Helm Studio. Though Owais scored 26 runs, Tariq lost his wicket on a duck. Though Idrees Ahmed Durrani scored 43 off 46, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes. However, his effort went in vain, as the bowlers dominated. Muhammad Hamza Abbas, Imran Mushtaq and Owais Badar knocked 2 wickets each.
Hence, the bowlers successfully restricted Helm Studio’s batters to a score of 97 in 20 overs. Therefore, Burraq Motors won the match by 80 runs.
