The all important final of the 23rd Challengers Cup was played between Camran CC and Aimmz Trading.
Camran CC batted first with their openers getting their side off to a strong start. Kamran Salam knocked a handy 32 while his partner Ismail Shah was the real star for his side. Ismail scored a sublime 70 off 42 including 6 fours and 4 sixes. After the duo were dismissed however, the team fell apart with 6 of their batsmen getting out in single digits. Zain Khan was in fine form, picking up a fifer under pressure to help restrict Camran CC to 154 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Aimmz Trading were never really in the chase, losing too many wickets to gain any momentum. Abdul Rehman and Abdur Rehman Sr were the only 2 notable batsmen from their side contributing 40 runs each while the rest of the side imploded. Maqbool Shah lead the attack with 4 key wickets while Arsal Ali and Mir Ahnaf kept the pressure on with 2 wickets each as Aimmz Trading were dismissed for 126 in 18.5 overs.
Camran CC won by 28 runs and are champions!
