Camran CC and Masaqa CC went against each other on 16th October on TMC Ground.
Mubashir Nawaz and Ismail Shah opened the innings for Camran CC. While Mubashir scored 5 runs only, Ismail smashed 59 runs off 45 balls. His innings included 9 boundaries. Najeeb Ullah, the one-down batter, scored 20 runs at a strike rate of 222.22. The bowlers gave a neck-to-neck fight to the batters. Hamza Qadir led the attack and bagged 4 wickets. In addition to this, Umer Khan took 3 wickets. The batters held on to the momentum, as Kamran Salam and Gulzar Ali played crucial cameos of 20 and 30 runs respectively. Hence, Camran CC posted a total of 172 runs.
Ahmed Hussain and Zakir Malik opened the innings for Masaqa CC, scoring 21 and 23 runs respectively. Fareed Shah Arbab, the one-down batter, hit 39 off 28. Though Akber Khan added 36 runs in the end overs. However, the bowlers managed to halt the momentum and build pressure on the batters since the middle overs. Malik Kakar Ali and Mir Ahnaf took 3 wickets each. In addition to this, Ahsan Aslam took 2 wickets.
As a result, Camran CC’s bowlers successfully restricted the opponents batters. Hence, they won the match by 21 runs.
