Chiniot United batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Imran for just 1 run. Both openers were dismissed cheaply before Musaddiq, Asif Afzal and Muneeb Shah stepped in to lead the recovery for their side, contributing valuable runs with the bat and keeping the scoreboard ticking throughout the innings. Daniyal Kashif and Khurram Arshad did well to limit the opposition, leading the attack, picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively to stump the batting line up. The rest of the batsmen were unable to effectively contribute runs with the bat, throwing away their wickets. Chiniot United set a target of 168 in 20 overs.
Viper United stumbled in their chase, losing opener Hamza Tahir for duck! His partner Asif however scored a fantastic 78 runs to keep his team's chances alive. The rest of the team however simply fell apart, unable to keep their wickets intact. Mubashir Fayaz was the only other batsmen who showed some resistance, contributing a fighting knock of 30 runs. He received little support on the other end however and after he was dismissed the team simply imploded. Asif Afzal was the lead wicket taker for his side, picking up 3 wickets to limit the flow of runs. Viper United were restricted to 159 in 20 overs.
Chiniot United won by 9 runs.
