Karachi Shaheens came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths picking up wickets at regular intervals. The batting side never seemed to find their footings from the word go as the bowlers were dominant through out the innings. Uzair Akbar & Kaif Bilal showed some sort of resistance as they put up a decent partnership. Uzair Akbar scored 26 off 32 deliveries. Kaif Bilal scored 15 runs off 16 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers picked up the momentum again. Imran Mushtaq lead the bowling lineup as he picked up 3 wickets. He found good support from Rehman Ghani & Fareed Shah who picked up a couple of wickets each. Karachi Shaheens were bowled out for 85 runs in 16.1 overs.
Chippa Strikers came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start loosing 2 wickets early on. Despite loosing 2 wickets they scored at a high rate. Akhter & Bilal put up a partnership of 50 runs. Akhter played a sublime knock of 58 runs off just 35 deliveries single handedly taking his side over the line. Kanwar Khalil, Kaif Bilal & Uzair Akbar picked up a wicket each but it was too little too late.
