City School O-Level Darakhshaan Campus trimuphed over KGS O'Levels in the PSSO O-Level tournament at the IBA Cricket Ground.
Batting first, KGS only managed to post 67 on the board before getting all out. This major batting collapse was triggered by some fantastic bowling by the City School Players. Abdullah Aziz was at the forefront of this onslaught, picking up 3 wickets including the all important wicket of KGS Captain Khizer Saqib. Humza Mubeen and Tabraiz Mirza also picked up 2 wickets a piece, and the only substantital contribution from a KGS Batsmen came from the bat of Zaid Omer, who scored 17 not out.
In response, City School only required 10 overs to chase down the total and still had 7 wickets remaining in their arsenal. KGS was given hope early on as fast bowler Rayan Ali picked up 2 crucial wickets but Hunain Shahid and Osama Khawat batted sensibly to take the City School home, scoring 37 and 16 respectively. This outstanding performace with both ball and bat ensured that the City School Darakhshaan Campus would be crowned the PSSO O'Level Champions.
