City Tiles went against Medicam on 24th November at DHA Sports Club.
Junaid Khaleel and Abdul Basit Zaki opened the innings for Medicam. They gave a steady start, scoring 17 and 33 runs respectively. Umer Lohya was stunning, as he smashed 61 off 46 at a strike rate of 132.61. Khalid Saleem and Jibran Saeed bagged 2 wickets, while Owais Sikander took a wicket. Hence, Medicam posted a total of 139 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 7 wickets.
Moiz Sultan and Azfar Saleem opened the innings for City Tiles, scoring 16 and 25 respectively. The bowlers dominated, as Danish Rehan bagged 2 wickets. In addition to this, Saad Sultan, Umer Chawla and Abdullah Nawaz dismissed a batter each. However , it was Khalid Saleem’s and Faizan Shoaib’s cameo of 43 off 37 and 25 runs respectively that led his team to a victory.
As a result, City Tiles won the match in 20 overs at the loss of 5 wickets.
