Classic Garments Raptors went against Rising Eleven on 27th October at Rashid Latif Cricket Academy.
Batting first, Ibrahim Kasmani and Muhammad Saif opened the innings for Classic Garments Raptors. Ibrahim scored 38 runs off 34 while Saif lost his wicket on a single run. Nehal Ahmed led the bowling attack and bagged 4 wickets at an economy rate of 6.00. M Asim Bravo and Ubaid Yousuf dismissed 2 batters each. Abdullah Imran, the lower-order batter, stabilised the innings with his knock of 46 off 26. As a result, Classic Garments posted a total of 149 runs.
Shahriyar Shahid and Shahnawaz Majeed opened the innings for Rising Eleven to chase. However, both lost wickets on fewer runs of 4 and 3 respectively. The batters displayed a sloppy effort, as two of the batters lost their wickets on a duck. Though M Asim Bravo smashed a half-century and remained not out. However, the bowlers successfully defended the score. Muhammad Anas Waheed, Abdullah Imran and Adbul Rafay dismissed 2 batters each.
As a result, the bowlers restricted Rising Eleven’s batters to a score of 119 runs. Hence, Classic Garments emerged winners by 30 runs.
