Sumya Builders batted first against Wintex Strikers with Adnan Ghazi dismissing Sabih Merchant on the first ball of his innings. Sumya's team struggled against the opposition, unable to keep their wickets intact and build any partnerships. Ali Iqbal however was in prime form with solid knock of 48 runs. Bilal Omer also kept the scoreboard ticking with his 38 but Wintex bowlers did well to keep the pressure on throughout the innings. Shaaz and Sameer were the lead wicket takers with 3 scalps each. Adeel Abbasi and Adnan Ghazi also took 2 wickets each as Sumya were bowled out for 158 runs.
In response, Wintex Strikers also lost opener Faisal Butt for just 2 runs but recovered well after that. Adnan Salim's 77 and Atif Ahmed's 40 helped the side comfortably chase down the target. Sumya bowlers were unable to pick wickets when needed and struggled to get the breakthroughs they needed throughout the innings. Wintex chased down the target in 18 overs.
