Muslim Gymkhana batted first against Benitoz Panthers in what turned out to be a completely one sided affair. Opener Fahad Jabbar knocked 29 runs but was dismissed shortly after with a couple of quick wickets falling. Ahmed Hussain who is in prime form then smashed 82 off just 44 balls which included 10 boundaries to try and pull his side back in the game. None of the other batsmen could provide any support as wickets continued to fall at the other end. Panthers bowler Umer Chawla was ruthless against the opposition taking 4 wickets in his spell. Hamza Qadir took 3 while Umer Khan took 2 wickets as Muslim Gymkhana were bowled out for 155 in 19.2 overs.
In response, Benitoz Panthers didn't flinch even once in the chase. The openers carried their bat wasting no time with Tabish Raza and Ahmed Arshad scoring an effortless 76 and 73 runs respectively to chase down the target in 15.5 overs. Muslim Gymkhana bowlers were helpless against the opposition, unable to take a single wicket.
Benitoz Panthers cruised to victory by 10 wickets.
