Gladiators CC Vs Daewoo CC (2nd ACM Day T20 League)
Fahad Jabbar's sensational performance with the bat, awarded his team with the victory. Daewoo CC raced over the Gladiators CC.
The first innings went under way as Shahzad Tareen and Ahsan Amin stepped on the pitch to bat first against the Daewoo CC. Shahzad Tareen started things beautifully and scored 38 runs for his side. Ahsan Amin was unfortunate and got run out after scoring 8 runs. Kamran Salam played a marvelous innings and scored 40 runs, where he hit massive sixes. Daewoo CC also came out with full force and tried to stop the Gladiators CC from setting a huge target, with their bowling attack. Fahad Jabbar picked up 3 wickets in 4 overs. Wickets kept on falling soon after Kamran Salam's innings and the Gladiators CC were totaled at 129 runs in 20 overs.
Daewoo CC were off to a banging start in the second innings, and it almost seemed as if they had pressed the throttle real hard and raced their way to glory. Fahad Jabbar did not only perform well with the ball in the first innings, but he also proved his performance with the bat as well. He played an outstanding innings by scoring 72 runs off 29 balls only. He knocked the ball across the boundary 15 times and covered half of the chase for his side. Ibrahim Akhtar supported Fahad and scored 52 runs off 27 balls. The opening pair were in a mood to brutally defeat the bowling side. And in just 8 overs, Daewoo CC marched their way to victory and won by 9 wickets.
