Royal Group Falcons batted first against Muslim Gymkhana at the Al Wakeel Cricket League Season 3. Daniyal Liaquat was the stand out star for his side with a sublime 111 off just 59 balls including 10 mammoth sixes. He received little support on the other end however with only Ibad managing 24 but Royal Group were able to post a sizable target of 190 in 20 overs. Muslim Gymkhana bowlers did well to keep attacking on the other end with Umer Asif and Adnan Ghazi taking 2 wickets each.
In response, Muslim Gymkana's top order put their side in a dominant position. Hurair Shahid scored a brilliant 64 while his partner Babar Malik contributed 28 and Shoaib Mirza scored 45. The team then lost a few quick wickets but with the foundation set, they were able to chase down the target. 3 key run outs and Idrees Amin's 2 wickets threatened the opposition but unfortunately were unable to defend the total.
