Al Jannat Fast Foods batted first against Diamond Homes at the much anticipated semi final of the NAC Cup (A partnership of SportsFever360 and KheloKricket).
The batting side however struggled against the opposition and were only saved from a complete collapse thanks to the ever reliable Haider Ali Bangash who once again produced a sublime innings. While Haider chipped away with a brilliant 92 off 58, the rest of the side imploded, throwing away their wickets to eventually be dismissed for 154 in 20 overs. Diamond bowlers did well to keep the pressure on, taking wickets throughout the innings. Fayyaz Hussain Warsi lead the attack with 4 wickets while Ahmed Hussain and Aman Burney took 2 wickets each.
In response, it was smooth sailing for the chasing side. Diamond Homes top order saw their side to an easy victory with Arif Yaqoob's 36, a blistering 66 run knock by Ahmed Hussain and Adeel Abid Shamsi's 46. Al Jannat bowlers were unable to pick wickets or create any pressure with only Danish Moin taking 1 wicket.
Diamond Homes won by 9 wickets and are through to the final.
