DHORAJI DAREDEVILS VS DHORAJI THUNDERS
Dhoraji Daredevils and Dhoraji Thunders went head to head this past Sunday. The Daredevils batted first and were off to a decent start with their opening pair, Umair and Kashif who scored 8 and 14 runs respectively. Ahmer was the third man in and he contributed to the total with his knock of 15 runs. Thunders bowler Imran struck with the ball, picking up 3 wickets for his side. He was further assisted by Mubeen who took 2 wickets. Danish was the last notable batsmen for his side, scoring 14 runs ro propel his team's target to 84 runs at the end of 8 overs.
Compared to what we saw in the first innings, the Thunders side was off to a rocky start. The opening pair went down after scoring a total of 15 runs. Mubeen tried to work his magic with the bat, but was unable to do so, because he got very little support from the remaining batsmen. He scored 20 runs and played till the innings ended. Imran contributed 19 runs lower down the order but eventually fell to a brilliant piece of bowling by Ahmer. In the end, it was Danish and Mubeen who were battling hard to get hold of the victory but they ran out of overs after scoring 81 runs. It was a nerve cracking chase and very close contest.
Dhoraji Daredevils won the match by 3 runs.
