Digitonics Lab beat the QP Stars by 24 runs at the Eastern Star Ground last week.
Digitonics was able to make 144 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets thanks to a couple of smashing knocks by Burhan Mirza (63 from 53) and Omer Saleem (28 from 30). A late knock of 14 from 6 by Hasham Rais and 11 extra runs gave them the winning total that they needed. Muhammad Arshad took three wickets, Hammad Ahmed took two and Jaseem and Muhammad Shamshad took one.
The QP stars just could not produce the match winning knock that they required and were stopped at just 120 runs inside 18 overs. Osama Mansoor's 20 from 17 and Arsalan Ali Khan's 24 from 26 along with 23 extra runs was not sufficient for the win. Burhan Mirza took three wickets while Salman, Ghaias, Tauqeer, Omer Saleem, Zeeshan Haider, Waqas and Naveed took one wicket each.
