Down Town Strikers went against TNP Titans on 12th November at Moin Khan Cricket Academy.
Down Town Strikers opened their innings with Adamjee Tai and Ammar Iqbal. However, both lost wickets on fewer runs of 2 and 1 run respectively. Idrees Amin scored 29 runs while Usman Ghani remained the highest scorer of the innings with 37 runs. Ali Ammar led the bowling attack with 4 wickets in 4 overs. In addition to this, Muhammad Yousuf Halari, Bilal Umer, and Khalid Khursheed Kaka bagged 2 wickets each. Hence, Titans restricted Strikers to a score of 109 runs.
Ejaz Shah and Waqar Saleem opened the innings for Titans. However, they gave a slow start losing wickets on 8 runs and a duck respectively. Bilal Umer and Muhammad Yousuf were stunning with their batting efforts, as they scored 30+ runs each. Though Ubaid Umer took 2 wickets; however, the bowlers were ineffective in defending the score.
As a result, Titans chased the score in 18 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.
