HBL Asset Management came in to bat first & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. Nauman Ur Rehman stood tall from the other end where as the rest of the batting lineup struggled to spend time at the crease. He timed the ball sweetly from the word go but was constantly running out of partners from the other end. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Nauman Ur Rehman was the only notable batsman in the innings as he played a sublime knock of 87 runs off 54 deliveries. Nadeem Akhtar lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Naveed Buland who managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. HBL Asset Management posted a total of 154 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
DR. Junaid Ali Shah Cricket Team came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Naveed Buland & Farrukh Rizvi put up a decent partnership at the top giving their team a steady start. Farrukh Rizvi departed after scoring 23 off 20 deliveries. Syed Azmat Ali came in & played with the same intent. The duo kept the scoreboard ticking & picking up boundaries at regular intervals. Naveed Buland departed after scoring a solid 40 off 44 deliveries. Noman Bhatti came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 20 runs off 11 deliveries finishing the match on a high note. Syed Azmat Ali played a sublime knock of 50 runs off 36 deliveries ensuring his side the victory. Babar Syed manage to pickup a couple of wickets but it was too little too late.
