The Dubai Hawks soared high last week with a seven wicket victory over the Avengers Cricket Club at the RLCA Gulberg.
The Avengers put on a good show with Qaiser Atiq making 47 from 34, Taha making 21 from 26 and Noman Ishtiaq making 13 from 9. With 21 extra runs, they made 117 in 19.3 overs. Owais dealt a serious blow by taking three wickets while Daniyal Liaquat took two and Muhammad Ali, Rafay Malik, Khurram Chaudhry and Afaq Ahmed Khan took one.
The Dubai Hawks made light work of the target and Zeeshan Bangash (35 from 37, not out), Daniyal Liaquat (31 from 23) and Muhammad (25 from 18) along with 23 extra runs helped the Dubai Hawks reach their target in 13.5 overs. Muhammad Shariq took two wickets while Mohsin Fatimi took one.
