EFU General batted first against Askari Life with the side simply stumbling along the way. Opener Muhammad Atta Ullah was out or just 1 run and things did not get better after that. Nadeem Baig's 24 and Ahmed Kanani's 21 were the most notable innings for the batting side as they were limited to 138 for 8 in 20 overs. Askari bowlers did well to keep things tight, picking up wickets consistently. Asfar Zaidi was the key bowler for his side with 3 wickets while Talha Arshad picked up a couple.
In response, Askari Life seemed to be headed towards victory but somehow lost their way. Their top order contributed cameos to help their side inch closer to the target. EFU bowlers however continued to strike, picking up wickets consistently to keep the score in check. Atif Usman knocked 23 while an in-form Asfar Zaidi chipped in with 21 but a flurry of wickets and low scores down the order had their side fall short. EFU's Zunair Mehmood lead the attack with his 3 wickets whie Ahmed Nawaz picked up a couple. Askari Life ended at 131 for 9 in 20 overs.
EFU General Insurance won by 7 runs.
