Pak Qatar Takaful came in to bat first & got off to a decent start with their opener Syed Asher Ali showing some resistance. He played a responsible innings, scoring 38 runs off 35 deliveries. Unfortunately, he didn’t receive much support from the rest of the batting lineup as they struggled against the bowling attack of EFU Life Assurance. Asif Abdul Ali, Salman Saleem, and Zohaib Ali Khan were the standout bowlers for EFU Life Assurance, each claiming two wickets. The batting collapse for Pak Qatar Takaful was evident as they were bowled out for a meager total of 112 runs in just 19.3 overs.
Chasing the target, EFU Life Assurance openers Zohaib Ali Khan and Zain Hussain took charge and got their team off to a flying start. Zohaib played an aggressive innings, scoring 43 runs off 35 deliveries, setting a solid foundation for the chase. Zain Hussain contributed 13 runs off 11 deliveries before getting dismissed. Salman Saleem took the charge after the dismissal of the opener and continued to steer the innings towards victory. He played a crucial knock of 33 runs off 28 deliveries, providing stability to the batting lineup.
