EFU Life Assurance came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Zain Hussain gave them a quick start inside the powerplay scoring at a healthy rate. He played a solid knock of 34 runs off 26 deliveries. Umer Hussain & Osama Ahmed then put up a partnership of 50+ runs. The duo scored at a healthy rate scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Umer Hussain scored 31 runs off 22 deliveries where as Osama Ahmed played a fiery innings of 46 runs off 30 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t do much as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Hasnain Haider & Asad Ali lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets each. EFU Life Assurance posted a total of 144 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
IGI Life Vitality came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Umer Ishtiaq scored 27 runs off 17 deliveries where as Atif Usman managed to score 19 runs off 25 deliveries. Muhammad Aamir came in & he played with the same intent scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Despite him playing at a nice pace the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals from the other end. He was running out of partners as the bowlers dominated from the other end. Muhammad Aamir departed after scoring 36 runs off 31 deliveries. Zohaib Ali Khan lead the bowling attack as he was unplayable. He single handedly tore apart the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Saeed Khan who picked up a couple of wickets.
