Engro batted first and were off to a flying start with their openers, Ali Hyder and Irteza Khan setting up things quite nicely. They batted with aggression and put every opportunity to the boundary and rotated the strike in between. Ali Hyder, who was also the top scorer of the innings scored 60 of just 53 balls whereas Irteza Khan managed to score 43 of 32 balls both smashed 1 six. After their dismissal, Parco put brakes on the scoring rate and crawled back in the game with tight bowling. The bowling effort was led by Muhammad Ahmed who picked up 3 wickets for just 21 runs. In the end, Engro managed to score 165 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs.

Parco’s chase got off to a poor start as Ibrahim Akhtar was dismissed for a duck after playing out a maiden. Khalil and Haq Nawaz then got together and rebuild the innings and put Parco at a decent position with their partnership. Khalil Bugti was the top scorer of the innings and he scored 54 of 35 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes whereas Haq Nawaz managed to score 26 of 21 with 4 fours. Once they were dismissed, Engro came back roaring and they dismissed the rest of the batting lineup in quick time without much contribution from them, Hammad Khan was the only other resistance from the batting order as he scored 27 but rest could not cope the pressure. The bowling was outstanding and Saad Rehman stood out with his 4 wickets, Irteza Khan also picked up 2 and in the end Parco managed to score just 146.

Engro won by 19 runs.
