Estate World XI and Taj Marquee went against each other on 28th September at Young Fighters Ground.
Abdullah Afzal and Shah Zain opened the match for Estate World XI and scored 15 and 24 runs respectively. Salman Amin stabilised the score, as he hit 53 runs off 34 balls. Idress Amin led the bowling pack, bagging 3 wickets at an economy rate of 1.0 in 3 overs. Hence, World XI posted a total of 134 runs.
Uzair Aslam and Asad Asif opened the second innings to chase, however, both lost wickets on fewer runs. The following 3 batters were dismissed on scores of 0,1 and 8 respectively. Though Idrees Amin smashed 45 off 35; however, World XI’s bowlers dominated. Taha Arsalan picked 2 wickets. While Salman Asif, Hashim Hussain Vayani and Talha Sultan bagged a wicket each.
Hence, World XI was successful in defending their score by a single run captured. Therefore, capturing victory.
