Gulberg Gymkhana came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Hassan Jafri & Hussain Abbas put up some sort of a partnership at the top. Hassan Jafri managed to score 12 off 10 where as Hussain Abbas scored 29 off 25. The bowlers managed to pickup a couple of quick wickets but the momentum was then stopped by Shafqat Ullah & Muhammad Ahsan Zafar who put up a decent partnership keeping the scoreboard in check. Shafqat Ullah scored run a ball 24 & Muhammad Ahsan Zafar scored 20 off 16. M Kashif came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 26 runs off 16 deliveries taking his team to a fighting total. Hasan Mehmood, Talha Shabbir & Shahzain Hameed picked up a couple of wickets each. Gulberg Gymkhana posted a total of 147 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Estate World XI came in to chase this target & were off to a flyer. Their openers made full use of the powerplay & gave their team a quick start. Shahriyar Shahid & Jahanzaib Jazzy put up a fiery partnership with Shahriyar Shahid playing a fiery innings of 23 runs off 12 deliveries. Jahanzaib Jazzy played second fiddle to him as he kept on rotating the strike. Farhan Shah came in & played with the same intent. He smashed the ball from the word go. The duo put up a partnership of 50+ runs completely dominating the game. Jahanzaib Jazzy was dismissed after scoring a solid 49 pff 44 deliveries. Farhan Shah followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 55 runs off 34 deliveries ensuring his side the victory. Sami Arshad added the finishing touches as he scored 13 off 7. Hussain Abbas, Atif Ali & jahanzaib mughal were able to pickup a wicket each.
