Zenith Associates and Gulshan Becks went head to head at the 7th Big Bash Tournament with Fahad Anjum lighting it up. His exquisite century came off just 64 balls and included 13 boundaries. Gulshan Becks bowlers were out of sorts, unable to contain the flow of runs. Yasir Bangash and Muqarram Khan kept things moving with knocks of 40 and 38 runs respectively as Zenith Associates ended at a mammoth 202 for 2 in 20 overs.
In response, Gulshan Becks had their work cut out for them if they were to try and chase down the target. The team however lost openers Faraz and Jibran early on with things only getting worse after that. With the exception Kamran Siddique's valiant 45 and Waqas Khan's 34, none of the batsmen were able to effectively contribute as Becks were dismissed for 118 in 17.5 overs. Zenith bowlers were in fine form with Muqarram Khan leading the attack to pick up 4 wickets in his spell. Owais Soomro also took 3 while Rizwan Qureshi picked up a couple.
Zenith Associates won by 88 runs.
