Alliance Sports threatened Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana's total of 187 through contributions from its top order, but Faisal Mujtaba proved to be too good for them as he deceived them with his fine spell.
The game began with Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana batting first and after losing an early wicket they came back strongly in the game on the back of the partnership between Farukh and Adnan. The pair contributed more than 100 runs together and a quick time as well, they smashed bowlers all around the park. It seemed as though there was a competition going on between the two batsmen as both wanted to beat each other. Farukh smashed 3 sixes during his innings of 62 whereas Adnan scored 5 sixes during his 50 balls 73 runs. Once they were dismissed, Farooq finished the innings of in style with 15 ball 29 run innings. Ahsan was the most impressive bowler as he picked up 4 wickets. This took Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana to a very massive 187 of their 20 overs.
The chase was a huge one and Alliance got a steady start with their openers building the momentum slowly but once Tabish got settled in, he was dismissed by Abbas which was a setback for Alliance. Ali and Idrees then carried the innings forward and both formed a much needed partnership but again Nazeer Hussain came back strongly in the game as they dismissed both the batsmen after they got settled. The entire top order got starts but none could convert that into big scores. The rest of the lower order was dismissed by Faisal Mujtaba who picked up 5 wickets only in his 2 over spell and made sure that his side take home the match with ease as they won by 34 runs
