Falaknaz Hawks came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Talha Ahmedani & Salman Sanghani put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team an accelerating start. The duo was timing the ball nicely as they hit out every bowler that was brought into the attack. They made full use of the powerplay as there was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends. Salman Sanghani departed after playing a fiery innings of 46 runs off 20 deliveries. Adeel Sabuwala came in & he scored 18 runs off 14 deliveries. Talha Ahmedani departed after playing a sublime knock of 76 runs off 41 deliveries. The rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much as the bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Wajahat Nagda was unplayable with the ball in hand as he single handedly tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Taha Arsalan who picked up 3 wickets. Falaknaz Hawks posted a total of 179 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
AZ Warriors came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers Ahmed Asif & Shakir Serang put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. The duo made full use of the powerplay making sure their team gets the perfect start for the run chase. Ahmed Asif scored 37 runs off 21 deliveries where as Shakir Serang played a fiery innings of 35 runs off 19 deliveries. Naveed Nagda came in & he scored 20 runs off 18 deliveries. Noyam Nasir chipped in with his run a ball 15 runs & Idrees Amin played a solid knock of 29 runs off 17. Once he was dismissed the bowlers then made their way back into the match. The bowlers then dominated the second half of the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Yaseen Quddus single handedly tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Rehan Hanif who was equally good with the ball in hand as he picked up 3 wickets. AZ Warriors were bowled out for 154 runs in 19.5 overs.
