Falcon CC and Legend CC went against each other on 16th October at the Young Fighter Ground.
Wali Khan and Syed Daniyal opened the innings for Legend CC. While Wali scored 34 off 21 balls, Daniyal lost his wicket on 15 runs to Farhan Sheikh’s ball. Yasir Khan, the middle-order batter, was playing at a good pace. However, he got run out by Muhammad Zubair at 22 runs. The bowlers dominated in the middle overs, with Ali Abrar and Noman Alvi bagging 2 wickets each. Taimoor Khan and Syed Sharjeel Ahmed’s cameos of 37 and 21 led the team to a stable score of 144.
Daniyal Faisal and Hasan Jaffri opened the innings for Falcon CC. Hasan was fiery with the bat, as he smashed 57 off 45. However, his partner Daniyal lost his wicket on a duck to Muhammad Hamza’s ball. The bowlers displayed a mediocre effort, as they were unable to build pressure on the batting lineup. Muhammad Zubair’s innings were crucial, as he played a knock of 37 off 32 and remained not out. His innings were supported by Fahadis Bukhari who played a cameo of 14 runs.
As a result, Falcon CC was led to a win by 7 wickets in the 18th over.
