Fantastic 11 came head to head against the Eagles Sports Club in a friendly encounter played at the Eidgah Ground.
Batting first, the Eagles Sports Club were off to a shaky start losing their top 3 batsmen in single figures. However, the middle order stabilized the innings, with Muhammad Danish Meer scoring 24 runs while Ahmed Yaqoob contributed with 18 runs. The Fantastic 11 bowlers displayed some brilliant bowling to restrict the Eagles' at 120 runs in 17.2 overs. Muhammad Jawad was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets for 27 runs. Maaz Ali also chipped in with 2 wickets.
The Fantastic 11 openers dominated right from the word go with Mohsin Yousuf scoring 28 runs in 17 balls, at a strike rate of 165. Fellow opener, Sabeer Tahir chipped in with a responsible innings of 24 runs in 29 balls. For the Eagles, Waqas Ismail and Yasir Abdur Rauf took 2 wickets apiece to try and bring their side back into the game. However, Jawad Hussain finished off proceedings with a quick 14 runs in 11 balls to seal victory for the Fantastic 11 with 6.4 overs to spare.
Fantastic 11 won the match by 5 wickets.
