Ridan Warriors batted first against Cric Wolves with Faisal Butt and Fayyaz Hussain leading the charge. Faisal scored a handy 36 off 20 but it was really Fayyaz who stole the show. The one down star scored 78 off 61 including 6 fours and 5 sixes to set a solid foundation for his side. Ali Iqbal and Anas Ahmed also chipped in with minor cameos to help Ridan Warriors reach a competitive, defendable, 162 for 4 in 20 overs. Shoaib Mirza took 2 wickets but the Wolves bowlers were weak against the opposition, unable to capitalize on key moments.
In response, Wolves were off to a disastrous start after losing their top order cheaply. The ever reliable Fahad Jabbar then stepped in to save his side with an impressive 67 off 49 including 6 fours and 1 six. Shoaib Mirza and Umar Riaz also contributed 20 each but it wasn't enough to get their side over the line. Adeel Majid and Fayyaz Hussain took 2 wickets each and Warriors bowlers restricted the chasing side to 142 for 7 in 20 overs.
