Samba Bank Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a poor start loosing 2 wickets early in the powerplay. Muhammad Zahid looked promising but he was dismissed on 27. Faraz Sandhu looked absolutely unfazed. He was hitting the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground dismantling the bowling attack single handedly. Wickets kept on falling from the other end but his distraction continued from the other end as well. He was dismissed after scoring a brilliant 113 runs off just 60 balls. His innings included 7 gigantic sixes & 10 boundaries. Shaikh Rafay & Ghulam Murtaza picked up a couple of wickets each. Samba Bank Warriors posted a mammoth total of 205 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Group M Pakistan came in to chase down this huge target & never seemed to find their footings. Their top order batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert those starts into a big innings. Shaikh Rafay was the only batsmen who stood tall scoring a 44 ball 60 but he was unable to find support from the other end. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Yousuf Bhatti ripped through the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. Faraz Shah Taimuri managed to pick up a couple of wickets as well.
