A solid bowling performance followed by a masterclass innings from Husnain helped Feroze 1888 Mills to win by 7 wickets.
Bowlers nightmare it was as Husnain of Feroze 1888 Mills thrashed them all around the park when he came out to chase the score of 146. It seemed as he was in a hurry to finish the match early, bowlers found it difficult to bowl against him, they were clueless. It was a highly skillful, clever, ingenious, creative and inventive work from the hard hitting opening batsmen.
Earlier in the day NCC batted first and were off to a terrible start as they lost first 2 wickets quite early in the chase. It was the duo of Anees and Asif then who began the repair work with their fine partnership, Asif, who remained unbeaten for his 76 of just 51 balls smashed 8 fours ad batted with a strike rate 149. His partner Asif scored 31 of 28 with 3 boundaries other than them no one created any impact with the bat as Feroze 1888 Mills bowlers managed to curb NCC for just 146.
After a poor finish to their innings, NCC were hoping for a much better bowling performance but the top order of Feroze 1888 Mills dominated the innings with Husnain leading the way. Husnain was supported by Aftab and Waqar as they scored 31 and 23 respectively. Husnain though was in dangerous mood the innings of his had everything in it, the ball made a sweet sound whenever it hit his bat. The innings included 4 vicious sixes which took his side to a comfortable 7 wicket win in which he contributed with more than fifty percent of runs.
