Fidato CC v Super Daddy CC
Fidato CC and Super Daddy CC played against each other at SKBZ Cricket Ground. Fidato batted first and opener Abid was in great form as he hit the ball to all corners of the park and scored 81 runs off just 46 balls at a strike rate of 176% and his innings included seven boundaries and four sixes. While Abid’s innings was the highlight of the team’s performance, other contributions came from Jamshed (19), Irfan (18) and Shiraz (17). Fidato ended at 172 for 8 at the end of the innings. For Super Daddy CC, Ali Mufti took 2 wickets while Zohaib, A Rehman, Saad and A Qayyum picked up a wicket each and there were 2 run outs.
The reply from Super Daddy CC was contrary to expectations as Tanveer, Omar and Shahid fell in quick succession. Salman with 32, Rehan Sheikh with 22 and Ali Mufti with 21 runs put up some resistance but Fidato bowlers bowled some excellent line and length and pitched the ball in the right spots and took wickets at crucial intervals resulting in Super Daddy CC being all out for just 129 runs. For Fidato, Irfan was the most successful bowler with 4 wickets for 30 runs while Noman took 2 wickets and Asad, Muneer and Dawood got a wicket each and there was 1 run out.
