AAG CC batted first and had a disastrous day with the bat! Nothing could go right for their batting line up who were reeling at 8/4 at one point. All hope was lost until Iqbal (14) and Imran (30) stepped in to contribute a few runs with the bat, but even their partnership was short lived. Once their wickets fell, the rest of team fell apart and were bowled out for only 75 runs in 15.4 overs. 8 of the team's batsmen were out in single digits! Friends XI's bowlers were on-fire with their delivery, with each player picking up a wicket in his spell. Faheem was the key striker, with 3 wickets and was supported by Khurram and Iftikhar who took 2 wickets each.
Friends XI set out to chase the low total with their top order batsmen finishing off the task and making things look easy. Zohaib (18), Tahir (28) and Iftikhar (17) all contributed runs and successfully chased down the target. AAG CC bowlers tried hard to take wickets, but were at a disadvantage having to defend such a low score. Friends XI scored 76 in 9.4 overs.
