Masaqa CC went up against the Gladiators CC.
Masaqa CC batsmen took to the crease first. Despite losing an opener early on, they found their groove very quickly. The top order contributed with quick-fire 30+ scores, keeping the scoreboard ticking at around 9 an over. Shahid Mirani at No. 5 provided the final boost with 42 runs off 23 deliveries. Adeel Meo and Sufyan Butt collectively knocked over 7 wickets but Masaqa CC's run flow did not slow down. The first inning batting efforts yielded 187 from 20 overs.
The second innings got off to a great start for the Gladiators. Their openers laid a decent platform as Shahzaib Nazar scored 58 from 42. Farhan Nisar at No. 3 continued the effort with 40 off 21 balls. However, despite keeping wickets in hand, the Gladiators could not match the pace of the required run rate. Their efforts fell below par towards the end as they could not reach the target.
Masaqa CC won the match by 18 runs.
