MF Roomi Strikers, who were sent in to bat first, got off to a decent start with their openers, Muhammad Afzal and Talha Ahmedani, contributing 21 and 18 runs, respectively. However, they faced some tough opposition as the TNN Titans’ bowlers made early breakthroughs. The middle order then struggled to find their rhythm, but Umair Usman’s resilient unbeaten knock of 34 off 34 deliveries and Saad Faisal’s 29 off 34 towards the end provided some stability. Nonetheless, the rest of the batting lineup faced a formidable challenge and couldn’t contribute significantly. Osama Ayub was the standout performer for TNN Titans, claiming four crucial wickets. MF Roomi Strikers managed to post a total of 117/7 in their allotted overs.
Chasing the target, the TNN Titans had their share of early hiccups, losing three wickets. However, they found a savior in Rabish Ahmed, who played a remarkable innings, scoring 48 runs off 33 balls. His performance kept the Titans in the hunt, and they slowly inched closer to the target. Despite some late wickets, Hunain Usman’s unbeaten 11 off 27 balls and contributions from Abdul Rafay Aziz (14 off 8) and M Ali Alam (12 off 4) saw the Titans across the finish line. Imran Muhammadi took three wickets for MF Roomi Strikers, and Muhammad Asad claimed two.
