Groove CC batted first against Panthers XI and lost opener Ahsan Ahmad for duck. His partner Adeel Ur Rehman however remain unaffected, leading from the front with an impressive 65. The team however continued to lose wickets regularly with the exception of Azhar Ul Haq who knocked 28 runs. Groove CC posted a low target of 131 for 6 in 20 overs. Panthers XI bowlers did well to restrict the opposition with Amir Rana in particular taking 2 wickets.
In response, Panthers XI lost opener Adnan Sheikh for duck and things did not get any easier after that. The chasing side were unable to keep their wickets intact or the scoreboard ticking and despite a low target to chase, simply imploded. Saud Ur Rehman was unplayable in his spell, taking 4 wickets. Ammad Rashid kept the pressure on with 3 and Mansoor Khan picked up a couple as Panthers XI were bowled out for 101 in 17.2 overs. Mohsin was the only notable player for his side contributing 24.
