Group M went against Adamjee Life Assurance on 4th December at Annu Bhai Ground.
M Faisal and Mujahid Siddiqui opened the innings for Adamjee. Faisal was dashing, as he smashed 97 runs off 63. His innings included 14 fours and 2 sixes. Asfar Zaidi scored a half-century at a strike rate of 154.55. The bowlers displayed a decent effort, as Hubaib Ghafoor took 2 wickets while Farooq Haider dismissed a single wicket. Hence, Adamjee posted a total of 201 runs at the loss of 3 wickets.
Zakir Bilal and Ghulam Murtaza opened the innings for the chase. Murtaza was phenomenal and played a knock of 84 off 40 balls, hitting 11 fours and 3 sixes. Shaikh Rafay supported the innings by adding 54 runs to the score. Though Faisal bagged 3 wickets and Faizan Surrani took 2. However, credit to the batters effort, the bowlers were unable to dismantle their momentum.
As a result, Group M emerged as winners in the neck-to-neck match by 2 wickets.
