Batting first, Karachi Glass posted 168 on the board. Opener Faisal Saleem was the star performer scoring 60 of just 43 balls before getting dismissed by Jibran Rufi. Hammad played the supporting role making 30 at a little over a run a ball before Faisal Butt led a late surge scoring 37 in just 15 balls to take the Karachi Glass to a defendable 168 in their 20 overs. Jibran Rufi was the best bowler for Gulshan Becks, picking up 3 wickets at an economy of 5 runs an over.
In resonse to the 168 put by Karachi Glass, Gulshan Becks got off to a firing start as Kamran Ahmed hit 3 boundaries and 2 sixes in his 12 ball 30. Ali Manzar kept rotating the strike on the other end before 2 quick wickets fell in succession, bringing Kamran Siddiqui and Kashif Rajput to the middle. They put up a steady middle order partnership making 38 and 25 respectively, before a batting collapse ensued. Shoaib picked up 3 wickets, while Salman Naqvi and Faisal Butt picked up 2 wickets each to ensure that the Becks fall 9 short of their target.
