Gulshan Becks triumph over PIB Eleven

Gulshan Becks came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Mujahid Yawar & Sadiq Hussain put up a decent partnership at the top. Mujahid Yawar scored 15 off 12 where as Sadiq Hussain played a solid knock of 31 runs off 30 deliveries. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Muhammad Affan & Muhammad Waqas Khan put up a solid partnership putting their team into a comfortable position. Muhammad Affan looked good before he was dismissed after scoring 31 runs off 21 deliveries. Muhammad Waqas Khan departed after scoring 23 off 18. Hasan Siddiqui came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 32 runs off just 16 deliveries ending the innings on a high. Shoaib Sonija lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Muhammad Ali who managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Gulshan Becks posted a total of 181 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

PIB Eleven came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 4 wickets early on. Ali Peerji stood tall from one end meanwhile the bowlers ran rampants on the batting lineup. Ali Peerji departed after playing a solid knock of 34 runs off 20 deliveries. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Zubair Kachi & Shoaib Sonija the put up some sort of a partnership at the back end of the innings. Zubair Kachi scored 29 runs off 21 deliveries where as Shoaib Sonija scored 25 off 16 but it was too much of a task for them. Kamran Siddique lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Syed Mehdi Raza, Syed Atif & Asim Tariq who picked up a couple of wickets each. PIB Eleven were bowled out for 137 runs in 17.4 overs.

Gulshan Becks Won By 44 Runs
