In a thrilling match this week on Tuesday, the Karachi Titans beat Super Daddy Cricket Club by five wickets at the MKCA Ground, thanks to the Herculean effort of Haider Ali Bangash.
Super Daddy put up 143 on the scoreboard in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. A tremendous 50 from 42 by Shehryar Qadir and 25 from 26 by Ali Mufti was crucial in helping Super Daddy get to 143. Affan Zuberi, Saud Hussain, Issam and Afzal Lala each took one wicket.
The Titans one because of one reason and one reason only and that is Haider Ali Bangash who handed them the win on a silver platter thanks to his 96 from 62, not out. Where the rest of the batting order failed to score, Haider shined. Shahbaz Khan, Adnan Amjad and Khansha took one wicket each while Tariq Yousuf took two.
