NN Strikers batted first against Arham CC at the Karachi Masters League (Auction Based) with Pakistan’s own Anwar Ali being a part of the NN squad. Strikers top order however were a complete mess with their top 3 batters being run out, leaving their lower order in dire need to save their side. Eventually, it was Haider Bangash who was the hero for his side with a match saving 53 off 33 including 4 mammoth sixes to help NN Strikers reach a respectable 121 for 6 in 20 overs. Arham’s bowlers were very disciplined in their approach throughout the game, with their fielders in lightning form.
In response, Arham CC just could not find their footing and were simply outdone in the chase. After losing opener Suleman Saleem for duck, the rest of their side continued to lose wickets cheaply. Aashir Ahmed was the only player to show intent with a fighting 41 while Usman Shah contributed with 25 runs but the team were eventually restricted to just 106 runs in 20 overs. Saqib Khan bowled an unplayable spell, picking up 3 wickets, giving little away while Anwar Ali starred in his spell, picking up 2 key wickets.
NN Strikers won by 15 runs.
