Gulshan Becks Vs Friends XI
20 Over Match
Gulshan Becks batted first and were off to a reasonable start both Kamran Ahmed and Ali Manzar were in top form and they batted sensibly. Kamran Ahmed was the aggressive partner of the two as he scored 34 of 25 balls with 6 fours, Ali Manzar supported him well and scored 16 of 22 balls. After their dismissal, Kashif and Mujahid drove the innings and scored useful 23 and 25 runs respectively but other than them no one could create an impact and Friends 11 came roaring back in the game, thanks largely to Muhammad Asif who picked up 4 wickets for just 27 runs, he was supported by Fayyaz Hussain who picked up 3 wickets for 17 runs. Their efforts helped restrict Gulshan to just 140.
The chase was on and it was made more memorable by a brilliant knock from Hamza Innayat. The second inning belonged to him only, he single handedly won his side the game as he scored a brilliant century of just 60 balls. He did the bulk of the scoring, it was as if though Gulsahn Becks were fighting against him, he stood like a wall and crushed everything that came his way, the hard-hitting opener smashed 8 sixes and 8 fours in his 103. None of the bowler could find a way past him and when Rufi did, it was too little too late for them as he did his job and handed his team victory in just 16.3 overs.
