Panthers XI Vs M.Ali Sports
Panthers XI batted first and were off a rocky start when Adnan Sheikh scored just 2 runs and Noman scored only 7 runs. The opening pair wasn’t able to provide their side with a mega start in the match. Yasir was the third man in and he played some impressive shots with a valuable contribution of 29 runs. However he was uprooted before he could capitalize on a decent start. M.Ali bowler Jawed was lethal in his spell of 4 overs picking up 3 wickets. Saad also tried to score big runs but lost his wicket after scoring only 10 runs. Adnan Ahmed was the only other player to show some resistance with his knock of 19 runs. After his dismissal, the team fell apart, throwing away their wickets, unable to keep the scoreboard ticking. Hasan Sheikh was in-form and on fire for his team, with his magical spell of 4 wickets in 3 overs. Panthers XI were restricted to a total of 87 runs in 19 overs.
M.Ali Sports did a magnificent job with the ball in the first inning and were determined to win. The team however stumbled early on in their chase losing opener Naveed for duck. His partner Ahmed Mustafa scored 11 runs only. The team stabilized when Mohammad Muneeb came in at number three and scored 22 runs. Soon Basit supported Muneeb and scored 30 runs which eventually led their side to an easy victory. With 20 extras given away by the bowling side, Panthers bowlers were ineffective with too low a total to defend. Zain and Yousuf however did pick up a wicket each. M.Ali Sports chased down the target in 13.4 overs.
